Hi, my background is electrical engenieering, and some concepts in DT are similar to EE / EDA software. And of course all users hate to some degree our EE software, BUT some things I really miss in DT:
1. If I want to set e.g. a parameter to 1.000, why I need to use the mouse? Why not typing 1 on keyboard? Why we have sliders in DT without marks for important settings like the default value? Why not using +- or >< for shifts, and tell it in a bubble help? Or adding spin buttons?
If I know my last step was one %, than I can easily go back, but this is not possible with mouse draggings.
2. Getting started with DT or any SW would be much easier with context-sensitive menues and popup menus! E.g. to get back to default not only for the whole filter, but for the parameter where the mouse is now. Or to bring up advanced options (which tend to overcrowd the area).
3. Languages! I think the German version has often bad "wording", I can help, BUT the ultimate solution would be if I could switch bw German and English quickly, or get the unused version as bubblehelp. Photography has so many special words, sometimes one is better known to me in one language, sometimes in the other. And this is different, for different users, like me and my wife.
Or is the DT concept to let be as worse (in UI aspects) as other programs? So that only one type of user can work efficiently?
