jaw-dt As I mentioned, it used to work like that in (among others) Lens correction and denoise, and that was completely useless.
Example: Suppose you wanted a denoise-preset with the Strength at 0.7 rather than the default of 1.0, to get a sharper image. If you applied this preset to all your images, it would also apply one fixed ISO-profile to all those images. If you created your preset on a 2000-iso image, all the images would get the 2000-ISO noise reduction profile. That was clearly wrong and it has been corrected.
Same is true here. You may prefer a different Lattitude or Contrast because those are matters of taste. But blackpoint and whitepoint depend on the image and you can not simply fix them at 3.0 and 7.0 for all images - that would be useless.
