Wield CMD open when running in windows

DT for Windows: last few versions open CMD windows - 1 enters a process, the other states "exited on [1]"
Both stay open, and don't seem to affect the functionality of the software ,when closed.

Anybody encounter this? -what does it mean? -How to avoid this?

Any help in resolving this is welcome

How Bizarre, sounds like it is trying to install something each time at a lower level. Does windows event viewer show anything in the logs?

At last !! -The mystery is solved !!
In every run of DT on Windows it opens and closes a procedure that invokes the program.
HOWEVER, I changed for other reasons my native 'cmd' terminal with a program which is called 'terminal' and is supposed to be a better version of it. -This program, alas, did not know how to handle the procedure of invoking DT.
-I solved it by uninstalling the 'terminal', and reverting back to the native one (actually found out this thing due to a similar err that happened with another program).

Thanks for your prompt help.
First - thanks for letting me know there a thing called: Event viewer (lot of little "hidden gems" in windows)
As far as I can tell, it opens a 'security spp', of which the significance is unknown to me, and since it's the first time for me on 'event viewer' I don't know how to link definitively to the opening procedure of the DT software (only circumstance - via date/time).

Your help is appreciated in both resolving this/ explaining it, and operating the 'event viewer'.

UPDATE:
The weird command line consoles still open, but I screen shot them and blew up to present for anyone with an idea what is seems to look for, and if what it prompts is a failure to do so (and best option - how to get rid of it..)

Start the cmdln search for link file
End the cmdln search for a link file

Sorry no, still no link. However I doubt I could help much looking at the screen shot. If you want to ask a developer there used to be a link on the darktable.org website

OK - I'm done with trying to attached screenshots.
The 1st photo reads:
"Defalut: c:\Program Data\ Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\darktabke\darktable.lnk ctrl+alt+1"

The 2nd photo reads:
" [Process Exited with code 1 (0x00000001)]"
So the 1st is looking for a link with an extension that's the link from which I launch the DT program, but somehow it does it with "echo on" or something similar..

PS - Tried forums now, and it might be a windows problem, but it only occurs when I open DT for some reason.
Also, the registry process there, doesn't have the values on my PC at all, so deleting them is prevented.
