DT 3.2.1 (Linux): Corrupted EXIF Data?

It looks like jpegs exported from my (Pentax) RAW files either do not carry over EXIF data, or the data is being corrupted. None of the viewers/processors I use can read the data, and the Linux command line EXIF reports the following:

Corrupt data : The data provided does not follow the specification. ExifLoader: The data supplied does not seem to contain EXIF data.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong, or where to look to fix the problem. Please advise.

Buy a Nikon. If you have somewhere you can post a raw file I can test on my system.

DT reads it perfectly well, but it does not export correctly.

Have you tested using another linux RAW photo program to export to JPG? Thread click here started in 2018 indicates a similar problem with Gimp that was resolved two months ago. May need to search or file a report click here

Yes, I just tried converting one of my raws to jpeg with RawTherapee and the whole slew of exif data was preserved and readable by everything on my system that reads exif data.

Maybe it will be fixed in 3.4 release, which I think is going to be at the end of the year. You should submit a bug report.
