I´m a beginner with Darktable and I´ve been photographing only for year now, LOVE IT!
I took a night photo of my home city lights and edited it with Darktable,
it looks good in the DT but when I export it it looks terrible!
Specially the sky and icy lake, big dark areas are full of kind of a pixel waves (don´t know what to call them but hope you get the idea).
It has something to do with the Denoising because if I took the denoising away the pixel waves won´t appear on the TIFF-file (or JPEG-file) but of course then the photo is noisy.
I would like to frame that photo on the wall so I think the TIFF format is the best format, right?
Thank you for your help, it´s a bit frustrating not to know why the denoising is coasing that pixel waving, or is that even the case?
